The dial plays with depth, texture and shifting light through a subtle construction combining a silky grained centre with a black opaline upper plate. Against this dark backdrop, applied 4N gold-toned indexes, the polished Schwarz Etienne logo appliqué, and the minute and small seconds tracks introduce precise, warm accents of light. Positioned at 6 o’clock, the small seconds display brings balance and structure to the composition, preserving the aesthetic identity of the 1902 collection.

The lancine-style hands feature a 4N gold-toned finish, echoing the applied indexes and other warm accents across the dial. Combining sandblasted and polished surfaces, their dual finish creates subtle variations in the way they catch the light while ensuring optimal legibility.

Visible through the transparent caseback, the ASE 300.00 automatic micro-rotor calibre reveals a contemporary architecture composed of six slender bridges. Presented for the first time within the 1902 collection in anthracite tones, the movement extends the depth and character of the black dial while highlighting the richness of its finishing: a sandblasted and rhodium-plated mainplate, polished bevels and bridges decorated with concentric circular Geneva stripes.

In contrast, the micro-rotor features an exclusive 4N gold-toned finish reserved for this limited edition. Its sandblasted and satin-finished surfaces are enhanced by the signature chevron motif inspired by the natural surroundings of the Manufacture, creating a striking point of brilliance within the darker movement architecture. Entirely conceived, developed and assembled in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the calibre offers an 86-hour power reserve.
